This is Stefani Germanotta better known as, Lady Gaga.

At age 19, she was signed to Def Jam.. but 3 months later she was dropped from the label. Akon got wind of her, signed her to Konvict Music, which is a subsidiary of recording industry giant, Interscope. She then started to write songs for various artists such as, Fergie, Pussycat Dolls & Britney Spears.

“at age 11 she was set to join Juilliard School in Manhattan, but instead attended Convent of the Sacred Heart, a private Roman Catholic school. Playing piano by ear from the age of 4, she went on to write her first piano ballad at 13 and began performing at open mike nights by age 14. At age 17, she gained early admission to the New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. There, she studied music and improved her songwriting skills by composing essays and analytical papers focusing on topics such as art, religion and socio-political order. She later withdrew from the school to focus on her musical career.”

Why does she dress up like that, Maybe for publicity? After all she is a very talented artist, perhaps her marketing game is just phenomenal.

Just came out today, that Vibe Magazine is closing its doors. After nearly 16 years in operation (1993-2009), started by Quincy Jones, who is most famous for producing the world’s all-time best selling album, Thriller, by the late Michael Jackson.

Now that leaves XXL & The Source magazines left to be in competition for the best Hip hop, and R&B magazine.
